The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) will be coming to Rhode Island on May 19, 2016 to offer a "Shared Decision Making: Train the Trainer" program.
Primary care practices are encouraged to register two people for the program as program participants will be expected to apply what they learn at the workshop by providing on-site shared decision making practice training. If more than 70 people register for the May 19 program, AHRQ will offer training on a second day (May 23, 2016).
Participants will receive 5.5 CEU's, and a Train the Trainer Guidebook, complete with videos and training materials. AHRQ has additionally been approved to offer CEU's when trainers provide on-site educational sessions for their staff.
